A massive beauty, though. Didn't expect the CM 690 to be this big, but I guess my components really do need the space, and I'm comparing it to my previous case, which is a fair bit smaller. The Corsair 550 also has some really fat cables.
Seems to be working fine... just had some minor trouble hooking up the motherboard... formatting a partition right now. Heatsink instructions were terrible, but I got it eventually. I hate how I have to really brute-force all the toolless parts of the CM 690 to open/close... even managed to break off one of the little blue switches at the back when I put in the graphics card.
Here are the parts:
- Q6600
- G.SKILL F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit
- Samsung SH-S203B Black SATA DVD+RW 20X8X16 DVD-RW 20X6X16 DL 18X/12X INT DVD Writer OEM W/ Vista SW
- EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GT Superclocked 650MHZ 512MB DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV Out DIRECTX10 Video Card
- Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L ATX LGA775 P35 1333FSB 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 3PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN
- Corsair VX550W 550W ATX 12V 41A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan
- Thermalright ULTIMA-90 6 Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 AM2 CPU Heatsink
- Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 3.5IN 500GB SATA2 8.5MS 7200RPM 32MB Cache NCQ Hard Drive

Cables are a bit messy, but they're so thick that I don't think there's much I can do. Thanks a bunch to the people on hardforum.com for helping me choose my components.
