Sharp BD-H20U $299.99

[mlightsey]

At Langley Air Force base Exchange in Hampton, VA has the Blu Ray Player for $299.99. The cheapest I could find it online is at Amazon for 319 plus shipping. PC World has a good review on the Blu Ray player.

Check other bases if you have access and they might have the same deal.

It's a pretty good player... I got mine for free when it was priced at $500. Superbad takes forever to load on it for some reason though.

Good price.

can you update the firmware on this player maybe that's why it's taking forever to load on that movie?

I know you can update the firmware for it, but at the time I had the latest... I tried in Feb '08.

Looks like they released an update in June: http://www.sharpusa.com/products/TypeSoftware/0,1086,229,00.html

Guess I have something to do tonight
