Shared Printer Issues

I'm having shared printer issues.

The printer is attached to my computer, shared as "Printer" and under the security tab I have ANONYMOUS LOGON, Everyone and NETWORK all with print allowed. When I add the printer on a machine with no credentials to my PC it wants a user and password.

How do I stop this? I guess I have the same issue with shared folders and files, even if I share to everyone it wants a user and pass?

If your PC is on Vista, make sure Password Protected Sharing is off in Network/Sharing Center. That's usually what causes the problem.

The windows network wizard? I did on one, didn't seem to help anything. Any other ideas?

Are all the computers in the same workgroup? Make sure file and print sharing is turned on.

Yes and Yes. File and Printer sharing is turned on, as I can access it but I must use a password.

I thought I had found the problem, but I tested it between two different machines and no go.

I really can't think of what It could be.

Here is a pic of a folder I'm trying to share.

even if I do \\IPAddress\Backup it won't bring it up. It won't even display my shared items while still blocking access.

Anyone else have ideaS?
