Recently i bought 3 external drives (USB).
Got a computer up running win2k, with USB2.
For some reason, it will recognize the drives, but not display them in My Computer, for exception of 1... this happens if all the drives are plugged into the USB2 PCI card we got.
There is another USB card that the motherboard came with, as well as the intergrated usb ports.
Currently i have one in each port (1 drive in the pci card, 1 in the intergrated port, 1 in the extra card), and it recognizes them and displays the drives.
My roomate, has had them to work all on the PCI USB card, says "just keep unlugging them and they eventually display"
But on reboot, it ends up not showing again.

Is this a hardware issue? Or Win2k? Other?

These drives are shared, and mapped to other PC/laptops through out the apt, when they are working.
 
Yes, currently one of the drives is in one of the USB ports (4 port card), and is recognized.
But, if i were to put the other two drive in the same card, they wont show up, but in Device manager they are seen (shows model number, etc).
 
Try plugging all of the drives into the add-in card one at a time and see if they show up, also with the one that works plug it into each of the ports on the add-in card and see if they work.
