if you don't want to upgrade, there's always the 360.
 
Games for windows that use live only work on vista. This is for security and functionality.
 
Its unanimous..Vista Only my friend...till someone hax it for XP..:p
 
Thats really lame. I wish they didnt make games just for Vista.... I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon... I guess I'm gonna stick to w/e games I already have for the PC and get down on some PS3 games.... bah
 
Well it only hurts the company making the games for now. I guess it would only make sense for DX10 games though.
 
It's a 'Microsoft Game Studios' published game. They want to sell more Vista. It's Vista only.

Thats business they won't get from me I'm afraid.... And probably tons of other people that refuse to upgrade to Vista lol.

From what I heard... Dell for a while was only selling their newier computers with Vista only... but I guess from "lots" of complaints they went back to selling XP.... go figure :D
 
I want to play this game...but hell no i am not getting visto...thats just stupid
 
no way in hell is a $40 game going to make me spend the $$$ to upgrade to another unsecure os........
 
Trust me..You arent missing anything if you dont already have Vista..This game could cost you about $200 to play and thats insane

Shadowrun=$50
Vista=around$100(at least
Windows Live=$50

Obviously if you already have a Live account deduct that but still definitely no reason to go Vista for this or Halo2..

Since it is not DX10, maybe some enterprising person will mod it to work with XP.

No way I'm upgrade to ME (oops I mean Vista) until many problems are fixed. I know that many government agencies are refusing to touch Vista with a 10" pole, so what will MS do when many of their paying customers refuse to upgrade?
