Ive read some reviews of Sapphire 6950 Dirt3 2fan modell and Asus 6950 DCUII.

Is there a good chance to unlock shaders on these?

Seems as both have dual bios but AMD is cutting off the "extra" shaders is my understanding?
 
I haven't tried on my Asus 6950 DCUII's, but I can tell you that the switch is not for dual bios, it changes one of the DVI ports to dual link. AFAIK they don't have dual bios.
