which AA mode do you use most often? and why?

i remember reading an article that compares the 2 AA modes and the conclusion was that edge-detect AA eats your shader processing power but free up a lot of memory and the benchmark also shown Box AA had a good lead over edge-detect AA in their testing. that was when the 4850 just came out and they were using the first official 48xx driver, does it still hold true for now? after all, ATi has updated the driver and is the edge-detect AA better supported?
