sftp server for cisco configs

what software are you guys using or recommend for secure ftp servers? need something to securely transfer configs from my routers and switches for backups. right now im copying configs straight from the console logs......

Why run a separate daemon on linux for sftp?

The ssh package includes sftp already, just use that. Unless you meant FTPS, which I don't think cisco devices generally support.

you can also use SCP which is native to linux and most IOS versions by now
