Hey all I am looking to put a video card in a SFF Dell Desktop.

Looking to stay under 150 for the card and would like some feedback, but I guess I could jump outside that if its going to be advantagious.

I play mostly Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Rome 2, Skyrim, and Dota.

Monitor runs at 1080p.

Some sort of streaming support would be nice to offload off the CPU.

The stock PSU does not have a 12v connector so the card has to be powered by the Mobo.

Currently looking at:

or possibly

any input would be appreciated, system has an i5 3570.

Edit I just started looking so I didn't realize how many sff options there were, these units might be quite dated. I am going to keep looking and update, but if anyone has a good recommendation I would appreciate that as well.

I'd go for a 750 Ti. It's bus powered (no external power needed) and has Nvidia's Shadowplay for streaming. I believe its the fasted bus powered videocard out there right now. You might be able to get it for ~$120 if you look around.

I have this one (listed below) and I can play League of Legends, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and Skyrim maxed at @ 1080p with 60+ fps.

Cool looks great, 124.99 after rebate think I might jump on this.

Be careful about which 750 Ti you get, some of them have a 6-pin external power connector. I can confirm the one I linked above doesn't require a 6-pin.

Looking more at this card I think it might be to tall, I need a card that is low profile as well as non powered.

Which Dell do you have? Some of the SFF models have room for a double-width low profile card, in which case, you could put a 750ti in there.

Some of them only have room for a single slot card, and if that's the case, an R7 250 is your best bet currently.

This thread at Tech Report may be useful to you.

Here's another low profile unit to consider. I've had this one wish-listed for awhile now because I think it and it's little 750(non-Ti) brother are the only 750 series units that will do 4 monitors at once.

Thanks for the input I pulled the trigger on the 750Ti, incidentally I did read that thread at Tech Report after finding the card, and they recommended the 750 TI I picked up.

I did miss seeing that other unit that you linked corexodus I only was able to find the non Ti version when I was looking. The two units are codded the same. Missed out on Prime shipping for that item.

But I am sure the difference between the card I picked up and the MSI and the Gigabyte 750ti wont be to large.

Regardless should be faster than my old 260 in my core system.
