I'm new to the Sff and was wondering if anyone has built one with a external power supply (think laptop). I was thinking of building a SFF of ~2.0 ghz with a decent Fsb, and a single fan, obv, obs, ethernet 4 rear usb and 2/4 ob usb. Doesn't have to have cd/floppy.

i know some shuttles have an external psu similar to those of laptops

It's called the PicoPSU. Upto 160w iirc depending on how good of a power brick you have. Kinda expensive IMO tho.
