• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

1. Is it possible to take away someone's ability to post without banning them?

2. I was reading the forum help and feedback FAQ, and it says that buying GenMay access gives you a 300 PM inbox. The regular inbox allows you to store 400 PMs. This seems like a step backward. Is it still like this, or was it like this before?

You can be banned from individual forums or you can be placed in Coventry, which is universal ignore. No one can see your posts except you and the Moderator staff.

Yes, that information is outdated. 600 would be the correct amount. I remember the day when we had a 15 PM limit. Ahh, the good old days. :D

That seems very sadistic. The person would never know that they're on the receiving end of a permaban. I hope you guys don't use it.

Well, thanks for the answers, I think that'll do 'er.

One way to do that would be to set their primary usergroup back to "awaiting email confirmation." You can't post when you're in that group.
