Settings for dual moitors?

Namely, as far as I have set up dual monitors on my system, I have wanted to have an MP3 player and various apps on the 2nd smaller monitor. So I can change songs or surf game info while playing Vanguard or another game.

But when I mouse over to the 2nd monitor and click an app, the main screen minimizes. I understand that windows is acting as if I have one large desktop and minimizing as it would with one monitor.

How do I set things so I can surf on a 2nd screen while leaving my main game fullscreen? The whole point of a 2nd monitor for me is to do both.

Only real way to do it is to run your game in a window, rather than fullscreen - this will lose you some performance, though.

I wish it could do that with my two monitors. CURSE YOU MICROSOFT.

ShiftWindow to the rescue. Basically it takes the configured windowed application and makes it look like it is fullscreen. Thus you get fullscreen gaming with the benefits of windowed mode - no minimizing.
