I'm well aware of how to set values for multiple GPUs but what I'm not sure of is how cgminer orders the cards. If I run 2x 290s and 2x 270s, how does cgminer order these (GPU0, GPU1, etc)? In other words, how do I know which is which? I prefer to use a config file as opposed to inline execution commands.
Is it based on the order that Windows sees them (placement of PCIe slots)? Is there a way to specify which GPU I want set? I have noticed on my 290s that cgminer numbers the cards opposite of what I would expect with the primary PCIe 16x slot being GPU1 (and not GPU0). Afterburner sees them as I would expect.
Order of cards: 290, 290, 270, 270
"gpu-engine" : "1060,1025,1100,1100",
"gpu-memclock" : "1425,1375,1250,1250"
I'm sure I could figure this out with trial and error but want to avoid clocking my 290s up to 1100 (they won't be stable).
