Just recently I gained posession of a Fuji Plus 19". It was recommended in Hot Deals after people were talking about it not ghosting and frankly being beautiful. However, I'm having a small issue with it. It seems when I play CS that some shadows are so dark they go black, and of course make campers invisible. I've increased the Gamma to 100% in game, however they still are so dark they just show black. The rest of the game however is extremely bright...

What should I do/ configure?

Turn on VSync for games and TripleBuffering if the game supports it....

I actually turned UP the details in FarCry with VSync "on" and it looks better than ever...using force triplebuffering as well in the FC override cfg....

I like my old 21" Trinitron too...but I like this LCD more now that I tweaked stuff just a bit...

I'm not a big fan of v-sync, it kills fps in certain situations and makes the game seem more sluggish. I'd rather crank up the graphics options and have minor tearing in closed environments.

It's weird you mention blacks being too black because LCDs don't have the greatest contrast ratio. Do you know what kind of panel the monitor uses? It could be that it can't replicate the full spectrum of colors (or darks like greys) if it's something like a TN panel causing dark objects to meld into each other, which would also explain why the darks don't have subtle nuances and why everything else is extremely bright when you raise the gamma.

VSync with triple buffering cures that....

Actually this one has a good contrast ratio from what I understand...600:1

After turning down the contrast through nvidia color control and upping the gamma a little bit I can see everything perfectly now ^_-
