What is the purpose of doing this?

Since we don't appear to be a seti forum,,perhaps this thread should be locked,,,,,deleted or whatever
 
There are some people that still run SETI, although around here they are few and far between.
 
And is it too big proglem? This is benchmark, not seti thread ;-)

What do you plan to do with this info? :)
 
who are you...? what do you need us for...? what will this data be used for...?

and, most importantly ;), have you heard about folding ? :D
 
Seems like an oportunity for a trade... ex.tremeoc folds and we run a benchmark.... How many points should he have to produce???

i guess it depends on how many of us run the benchmark, on what computers, and for how long; in other words, he should have to make up the deficit we incurr by using computers to run his benchmark instead of fold.
