I'm really close to pulling the trigger on a Lenovo y510p from xoticpc. The specs: core i7 4th gen 4700mq, 8gb ddr3, 2x gt 750m nvidia graphics. I live in california, so I have to consider taxes and shipping for final costs.
Xoticpc - $1099, free shipping, no sales tax
amazon - $1063, free shipping, after taxes ~ $1150
newegg - $1080, free shipping, after taxes ~ $1165
provantage - $1026, but they're out of stock and I've never heard of these guys before.

Should I pull the trigger within the next week or 2, or wait for some coupons to show up on the net? The thing I hate the most if 1-2 weeks after you buy something, they go on sale for cheaper than what you originally paid.

Thanks in advance!

I bought from provantage for the same reason. Why not wait a bit?

Also, check ABT.com - they sell it for $1050

silly question but: why not order it straight from Lenovo?
Looking at their site they've got the high end model for the same price you quoted xoticpc having.

plus it makes warranty stuff cake. I picked up a year extension at purchase time for mine. (may have wasted money but my last laptop died just outside of it's one year warranty)

lenovo website is more expensive, basically same price as other retailers but with only 1x 750 video card. Unless I'm missing something, that is the price i've been getting from them.
