how do i set the divider on the abit ic7 max 3. im a noob overclock, i dont even know what the divider is
 
divider...memory divider?

BIOS -> Softmenu setup -> DRAM Ratio (1:1) would be optimal

what type of memory do you have? and what chip?
If it is a Northwood C or prescott, adjust the divider if you only have 400mhz DDR
 
wouldnt show video, had to clear cmos


up'd to 215 at 5:4 but havent run prime95 yet
