Set a max voltage for i7?

Is it possible to do this? Right now I have it set manually to 1.2. I'm overclocking it to 3.675 @ 1.2 just fine, but when I turn on the feature to automatically adjust voltage\frequency it sets the voltage way higher under heavy use conditions. I'd like it to be able to automatically slow it down\lower the voltage when idling, without exceeding 1.2 volts under heavy use conditions. Is this possible?

I'm using the ASUS Rampage II GENE if it helps.
 
SpeedStep and Turbo on the Core i7, will automatically adjust voltages when left on auto depending on load/temp, etc.
 
There is no way to specify a voltage limit that the board can't surpass. The only thing you can really do is adjust the VCore and Load Line Calibration options as best you can to give you the results you want.
 
I think all you can really do is set everything to Manual so that you don't have to worry about auto voltages. Not much help, but I think that's all you can do.
 
That's unfortunate. It'd be nice for power saving while still getting reliable OC voltage.
