Server Problems?

Is anyone else having Stanford server problems?
My farm is having problems picking up new WUs so I have a bunch of boxen idle.
I checked the Stanford site for the status of the server that my boxen are hitting (171.65.103.149),
and it appears OK. I'm wondering if there is something amiss...

nah, I just got two new work units a couple of hours ago. haven't tried in the last hour or so, but last time i checked it was fine...

double check your connection on those computers/router they connect through and check any firewall's you might have. I know that has be a problem for me in the past

Thanks. Still having problems. All the affected machines are at the office farm. The only thing I can think of is that we recently did a Windows Update on those machines, or perhaps there are some new firewall protocols at the university...?

I had a bit of a hiccup on one box, after a bounce it was all good!

Thanks for the feedback. Let's hope that things cure themselves for my boxen. My boxen seem to have bad Karma with that one server today.

Using pcAnywhere, I was able to go into one boxen and delete everything and reinstall without -advmethods. This worked to get assigned a different Stanford server, so it is folding again. However, I have at least 5 of my farm going begging for WUs, and possibly many others that I can't monitor.

And I was getting ready to compose my message about passing Tigerbiten!
That is now on permanent hold!

I'm guessing that others are having problems.
Check out yesterday's production -- quite an unusual drop!

I hope this gets fixed at Stanford's end as I don't want to have to visit all my borgs to get things folding again...

You can send that message.
Going on holiday for a month so farms being shut down.
I dont trust it to keep the internet connection up for that long without being able to monitor it.
So have fun higher up the table.......

Stanford had points server problems on Sunday. Seems to be fixed now. On another note, hardfolding.com is reporting again. better take your pics of your current standings. I doubt I will be a noble ever again.
