server cube in need of a nice paint job

Hey guys I have in my possesion a monster server cube and I want to mod the heck out of it. Windows lights the works. I had a friend sand blast it down to the metal already and now I need to find a nice paint to use. I want to get an automotive level finish on it and I want it to look as sweet and as blue as humanly possible. If anyone has any suggestions as to the techniques I should use to paint it or the paint itself that I should use I would be very appreciative. Also the case is made out of steel as well.

that's actually a lower quality finish then what I'm looking for. I actually want to get it to automotive quality not just spray can quality and maybe make it translucent or put a pearleascant in it.
 
actually just saw the second section and I will probably be going with that.
