I have set up a server 2008 r2 box with basic roles including RRAS. I don't have the DHCP or DNS role added on the server currently. When I set up the VPN I can connect and everything but it says No Internet Access IPV4/IPV6. Besides adding the DNS role I don't see any other reason why I can't access the internet or a shared folder from the VPN.

Need more info on the setup of both machines and the network.

Just a guess off the top of my head, but is the subnet of the VPN network the same as the subnet the client NIC is on?

@ Biznatch yes its the same subnet. @Jay I have the tunnel split and it is still not letting me access the resources on the remote server. I read somewhere that I have to give it access by the local security policy but I don't see why I would have to do that being as though im using NPS.

Then it wont work. How does windows know which adapter to route packets to if they are both on the same subnet? You need to change one of them and it will work.
