Running Windows Server 2003 Standard w/ SP1

I am getting a "driver not loaded" error when trying to play music in Winamp (shoutcast server)

I have a ASUS A7N8X Deluxe board and I'm using the onboard sound card.
I have loaded the latest drivers from the Asus website.
The soundcard is detected and does not show any conflicts.
The sound service is enabled.

Anything else I should check? It was working for the first day or so...

Would it have anything to do with me using remote desktop to admin the server? I have checked the sound options for remote desktop and it doesn't make a difference.

maybe check winamp settings to make sure that your soundcard is selected as the default audio device?

In Server 2003, you have to put Hardware Acceleration to 100%. Go to Start> Run> type in 'dxdiag' and go to Sounds tab, make sure the DirectSound is turned on. Either way, also make sure DirectX hardware acceleration is at 100% for the video card anyway. Should help the sound problem. If you already did those then I do not know what else, probably driver issue.
