Server 2003 - machines time out after inactivity?

Whats the fix for users who after leaving there machines for awhile logged on, have issues accessing shared directorys from the server?

Im thinking its some sort of time out issue?

Client OS involved?
What length of inactivity?
Is this happening to all, a few, or just one workstation?
Any issues with the network?

XP Pro on the work stations

Length of inactivity is more then a few hours, maybe half a work day?

1 workstation notices it, because its the machine that is usually not logged off often

no issues with the network

Make sure Windows is not powering down the NICs?

Could be a time issue with the KDC. If time is more than 5min off, computer authenication will not be acheived.

so its a windows time issue? I'll check to make sure they are both exacatly the same...
