Serious Sam 3 Patch?

There was just a patch for SS3:BFE and, I'm not sure what it fixed, but did it include the amount of enemies in-game?

Just loaded into a game and there were a MILLION more enemies, more of what I expected, ha ha.

One complaint I was having initially was there was not enough enemies when the game first released, especially in multiplayer. Now it seems they're just endless waves, which is how it should be, so just wondering if that's one of the things they addressed in the patch, because enemy numbers seemed very lacking at first.

Though there did seem to be a weird error with "loading DX9" I got, which I thought was weird.
 
From steam:

- Fixed data missing from some formatted texts in German language
- Fixed Moddable (unrestricted) version of the game not launching if autoexec.cfg is present.
- Fixed player sometimes getting into state with no weapons when respawning in Versus, or crossing levels.

Oh, shoots! This was certainly not expected, but now that you say, I know what caused it. The update wasn't supposed to be that big. It broke saves on levels #1, #2, #9 and #12 because those were accidentally included in the update. Will ship another one tomorrow, and we can revert this problem by restoring old versions of the levels. Unfortunately, if we do that, then the revert will break saves on those created today. Not sure which poison to take now.... Hm...
