I am having serious problems....I was playing CS one day and all of a sudden I start getting feedback in my right earphone whenever something very bassy happens such as an explosion or an AWP shooting. So I was freaking out because I had no idea what to do.....IT isnt just in CS either it is any sound that is bassy makes the staticy feedback in my right phone. So I reinstalled my Sound Card's Drivers (HDA Mystique 7.1 gold) and it fixed it....for a day. Now it is back. I dont know what to think, is it my headphones going out or what. My cans are senn's 595. I've only had them since christmas and loved them untill now.....Any advice would be much appreciated.

doesnt that card have a bad trackrecord for drivers?

drivers could be it, or connection

Do you have something other then your computer that you can plug your headphones into and play bassy music/DVD's?

Some of the sennheiser grills were notorious for having the grils come loose and vibrate with bass heavy sound. I have not had the opertunity to test the HD595 for very long periods of time, but if they did not fix this problem, chances are that's what you are hearing.

So, again, try it in another source with bass heavy sound at a relatively high volume to test the headphones. If you still hear this sound, its just cheap design on sennheisers part.

My HD590 V3's had this problem........ cheap things.

Good luck, and keep us posted

ok well I plugged them into my home stereo system and they do the same thing there....so its obviously something loose in my cans vibrating.....can anyone help me with how to fix it...or does sennheiser have a warranty these are less than 6 months old.

sennheiser will fix it for you I'm pretty sure, fire off an email to them or call their support line

Ah, that's unfortunate. It sounds like Sennheiser did not fix their grill problem on their new HD595 and HD555.

I'm not sure who you bought them from, but if you got them from an authorized dealer, they should come with the standard warrenty offered from sennheiser, which *should* be at least a year.

If the warrenty is up though, try and use some type of vibration dampening thing.... maybe a squirt of hot glue on the 4 courners would work wonders.

~Good luck

ok well i dont have the warranty card...must have lost it while opening it on christmas or something....but they should be able to still do it right? Also what were you talking about with putting stuff in my four corners....four corners where?

Oh, I was just saying if your warrenty was up, and you wanted to try and fix it, then you should try and add some vibration dampening thing....

I suggested maybe 4 bloobs of hot glue where the grill meets the plastic, so secure it a little better to try and prevent vibration.

Well, its time you start contacting sennheiser ^_^

~Hope this helps
