looking to get a new hard drive, which one to get, i work at best buy and get a discount, suggestions?(TITLE)

Umm, they're both serial.

I think you mean sata or pata?

For now, pata has better price/performance while sata has those cool thin cables :D

Doesn't make much of a difference, but I'd get the sata if the discount is there.

Of course, you might have meant scsi or sata in which case I'd get the scsi with a good discount.

hmm, yea, probably.... lol, im dumb, but uhh, yea im going with SATA I just priced it 80 gig for 110

Average to above average. There haven't been many reports of drive failures.

Like with ANY hard drive, a good backup solution is highly recommended.

yea, i got that 160, i can just put stuff on that, the main reason i am doing this is because my system keeps restarting for some reason
