I have a Shuttle system and so have room for only 2 HD's in my machine. My main drive is the WD Raptor, with the 160GB Seagate used for storage and backups. I am running out of room on the Seagate, and am planning on buying a 250 GB Western Digital drive. Thing is, I would like to put the 250 GB drive in the Shuttle and then use the 160 GB drive in an external enclosure. My problem is that I cannot find any external enclosures that support SATA hard drives. I do not want to have to buy the IDE version of the 250 GB HD and put it outside of my computer. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cards like this one have external SATA connectors.

I've never tried it, though; and I don't know of any external drive enclosures that have SATA connectors on 'em.
