sure they go hand in hand with each other (if you have good cooling, you can OC. if you OC, you need good cooling. etc) but sometimes i actually want to go read about cooling but NOT OCing.

just a thought!

Or keep the main and then create 2 sub forums. I personally like the way it is srtup up because they do go hand in hand.

true but itd be better to organise it...and create 2 sub forums as u suggested

but admins will have a hard time because people will talk about oc'ing then cooling in the same thread...

Which is why I suggest keeping the main. 2 Subs for specific threads would be good, but also a main where OCing and cooling come together in the same thread.

definitely. i'd love to go into the cooling forum and be able read about say how the aftermarket video card coolers do, and which 120mm fans are the best. etc etc etc.

But then it is going to be like the CPU section was, even though you have sub sections people will be too dam lazy to go into them and just use the main area to post everything, then the mods spend a ton of time moving threads.

perhapsd if people used a tag like [COOLING] in their thread titles, it could be better, but then again, not something many people are going to do.

I think the main problem is for alot of people - they dont know how to choose a good title for a thread.,

Just add a sub section to the forum for air cooling. There are already sub sections for water cooling and extreme cooling.

Overclocking and cooling go together like bawls soda and ice cubes: You just cant have one without the other.

I say keep it the way it is, theres not enough chaos to warrent a forum change.

yes you can have one without the other :p

Bawls (the overclocking) doesnt REQUIRE good coolign but it ADVANCES it with the ice cubes (cooling)

the ice cubes are semi boring on there own but are great cold :p and if they are made from juice, they taste good too :p

Im in for splitting em :)
