Okay I have the Sennheiser HD 497 and the 280Pro. Which one of these headphones are better?
 
They are not headsets they are headphones and it will take about 5 minutes of listening to them to figure out which is better.

Wife was using the 280's and I do not want to mess with her while she was watching her chinese drama crap. I just installed the X-Fi and just wondered without taking the headphones.
 
I owned both of them, and the 280 is without a doubt better.
 
I invested in HD580's a long long time ago and I still have them to this day. they're amazing. Go get a pair.

Not related to the subject at all, but nice try.

I also own both of them and I'd say the 280s are probably better, but that said I still use my HD497s, although not as frequently as my Grado SR60. Listen to both of them. :)
