Sennheiser headphone recommendations?

I'm looking for mid-level set of Sennheiser headphones that are similar to the HD555's but with a detachable cord. I've been looking around online and I'm not finding good reviews on a pair like this.

Does anyone own a pair they like?

I'm looking for Open-Aire ™, and circumaural on these headphones.

I'm fairly sure that you'd have to move up to a model like the HD600 or HD650, both of which require amps to sound decent, to get a stock detachable cable. Not quite what most think of as midrange unless you're on head-fi/headwize/etc.

I do love my HD-650s though :)
 
After listening to both the HD600 and HD650 quite a bit. I actually choose the HD600s over the 650s. For me, the 650s were darker and had a more "veiled" sound.

I do have a good DAC and Amp, but it could also depend on the specific amp for which headphone sounds better or more to your liking.

They are both very, very similar.
