Sennheiser HD497 wire messed up..

For some reason my right wire side is messed up, is there an alternative wire I can buy to switch it out? Thanks

Sennheiser sells replacement wires. However, before grabbing one of those, i'm assuming you've switched back and forth to determine the problem lies in the cord, and not internally to that side, right?

AFAIK, all of the sennheiser headphones that use that style connector have the same cable. I coudln't find any replacement cables besides the stock 497 cable.
