I have the PC360 Game headset. Works wonderfully, but the mic is a little soft on performance. Not sure if that's related to my onboard audio or not.

Now I see Sennheiser has a PC37X model, which looks almost the same as my set. What are the differences here?

No real differences; very, very slight adjustments to the headset and mic. It's basically a reissue of your PC 360.
Quick guide = PC 360 = Game One = PC37X.
