does anyone know how to send tv tuner channels through a network??
theres a winamp tv plug in that may work but it contstantly crashes, anyone successful using this?

through a computer network or a catV network?

i stream video via catV all day at work...

as for computer network you would be looking for something like a video capture card and some sort of video capturing software that could posibly stream the video.... look at something like the SLIMP3 software. they might have a soulution for what your looking for. i know with linux you can stream fm radio off of an fm radio capture card... basically the same principle but the audio might not match the video. for the linux software check out DSL or Freesco.

I know if there is an ATI TV Wonder or an ATI All In Wonder card on the network then you can stream TV through that card to other computers on the network if they have the ATI multimedia center and an ATI card. I know there is some other software taht will allow you to do this but i haven't looked into it because i have an ALL in wonder card.

I like to use windows media encoder to broadcast the tv you can find windows media encoder at microsoft site free.

did that, but for some reason i cant get the sound right.

hmm.

The sound using Windows Media Encoder is messed up for me too.

I can't get the audio feed to stay set at anything but MIDI. Whenever I switch it to Line-In, Aux, or "what-u-hear" it just switches itself back to midi, after I click ok.

well i got an old hauppage wintv-d that i wanna use in my server to do this networked tv thing, but it uses vfw drivers or however u spell it most progs need wdm, r there n e progs that will work with this card or any drivers that r wdm.. hauppage does not make the wdm drivers i need

the only thing i got working is the media encoder but this doesn't allow u to change channels

i can't figure out how to stream wit snap stream... can u do it wit the trial? and snap stream doesn't use vfw drivers, right now there are no wdm drivers for my card (yes there is this one called BTW or sumthin but that doesn't work for me)
