Selling a large TV?

Any advice how I can sell a 55" LED tv? I think shipping it is out of the question.. Craigslist has worked for my pc parts but they have been smaller items like a case. I am not comfortable having someone come into my house either, not really sure what to do?

I also drive a small car, I don't even think I could get it halfway into the trunk. I do have a close friend with a truck though.
 
Why don't you use haul service. I personally would sell my 'big' stuffs off craigslist since I do not want to pay arm and legs for shipping. Haul service normally charge $20 at most.
 
Can you set it up in the garage so they don't have to enter the rest of your house? It's also possible there is a bunch of stuff in your garage you don't want strangers seeing or that you have no garage, etc...
 
has to be a local sale...Craig's List is pretty much your only option for a large item like that...and I know I wouldn't buy a TV sight unseen...you pretty much have to let them in your house...just get a feel for them over the phone and trust your instincts...you can also have a few friends over the day they come to look at it for extra 'security'
