Seizing the GC ( Active Directory )

Hey all, this isn't an emergency, but I am doing some research. I want to know how to seize the GC role, should the current GC role holder irreplaceably die.

I know that in small, single tree forests, every DC should be a GC. This is just for shits and giggles.
