I am looking for a new case. My 650t was never the case I hoped it would be. Mainly, the mediocre/poor build quality and poor support for my 240mm clc.

Requirements:
6x hdd 3.5
2x hdd 2.5
0-1 odd
Atx mb
H110i push or push/pull
Full size gfx
Easily serviced dust filters
Decent build quality
Good airflow
<$300

++ nice to have
Easy to carry around
Fun colors
Sound dampening
8 pci openings
Lots of fan options

-- prefer not to have
Tempered glass
Lots of plastic
Stylized plastic

From my own research, the Obsidian 750d airflow seems to be the only case that meets my needs. The cube cases seem inteesting but all seem to be terribly optimized ...air 540/740 & core x5.

Thanks for your comments/suggestions!

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv will work (0 ODD though)

Will support 2x 240 or 280mm rads
it has (at least) 3 2.5" dedicated mounts
great quality, and super easy filter access.

It seems to be a fairly nice case and would be an easy choice if there were at least 4 lower 3.5 hdd mounts. I could eventually migrate to 2.5" drives.

How well does the glass hold up to scratches/ occasional transport?

Hopefully, I will not ever move in checked bags again... my 650t has seen better days... I do move my computers fairly frequenly in the car though.

if you're planning to transport, I would steer away from glass. Metal survives bending better than glass. The standard EvolvATX is metal paneled, not TG.

(Metal will ding / dent. Glass either survives or shatters!)

The Evolv holds 2 3.5" drives under the front, and 5 up top for a total of 7, so you should be fine on drives? Unless you're after a specific layout / setup.

Whoops, i was unaware that there was a non windowed version. Yep, with that layout, it would be ideal to have the rad at the front of the case. Rather than overhanging the motherboard. Not sure about fan/rad clearance from the top.
