Seeking: Bloodrayne 2 FSAA Patch 1.666

If you're on Windows 10 I don't think the patch works anymore due to Microsoft deprecating FSAA in DirectX 8 and older games. ID3D8:CreateDevice won't return a handle if MultisampleType is set to anything but 0 in Windows 10. Try using DSR and/or forcing SSAA in the drivers instead.

Wow, thx ChoGGi !!! That would be great if I can add the HD Textures.

I installed the FSAA Patch 1.666 & the game looks better, but I thought it was going to enable 1080 mode.

In game config (F2) does not add this either...

I tried changing the #'s in the *.ini file to support 1080 w/ no joy.

I didn't have a save file, but needed to go back to remember the story anyway & just got to the second boss.

It's really weird that I don't remember any of the games levels until I see a intro cutscene & then it's like a lightbulb goes off!
 
I think I am almost caught up to my last save game (several years ago & several PC's since then).

If you haven't beaten it yet, jackfuste did a new fix for widescreen (compatible with FSAA 1.666). Some guy on Win8 was having a startup crash.
It also gets rid of the model/texture popping happening on the sides :)

I have been working on my STEAM backlog lately & that is why I finally came back to Bloodrayne 2.
I got bored w/ it after hammering on it for awhile & got stuck - so I switched to Far Cry 3 & finally finished the main mission!
+ played the MP co-op missions + the main missions in Blood Dragon

I got back to BR2 today & had to use CHEATS to get out of the sewers because IDK WTF to do!!!
~ HINT: use the chain / whip & throw attackers at the green symbol while using BATMAN DETECTIVE VISION

Anyway, I would never beat this game w/ out cheats!

IDK why this game has been so damn hard for me... even after I figured out that I need AURA vision, etc.
