Those are 3 pin headers, hope you have some adapters around for your case fans.

Just install a temp monitoring app and watch your temps at various speeds and levels of usage.
 
yeah lol, i did that once

i bought a whole lot of fans, only for them to arrive and me to realise that they all had 3 pin connectors

i was like WTFUMPKIN

so i had to go and order 3to 4 pin adapters and pay for shipping, again

Which are 3 pin headers? Wouldn't they sell it at compusa or bestbuy?

Look at the picture that new egg provides that shows the back of the fan controller. You will see a bunch of 3 pronged ports. Most case fans are 4 pin molex. The case fan you linked to says it provides a 3 pin adapter, but if you want more fans you will have a problem.
 
Can I buy these 3-4 converters at bestbuy, compusa, microcenter, or circuit city?
 
A suggestion: Decide where youre going to put the fan controller, and plug in all the fans before you screw in the the controller, as with my Vantec, the plugs are all vertical, and it was a huge pain in my ass to plug in everything because I installed it directly below my cd drive :mad:

As for keeping the fans at low speeds, you should be fine, in my case with a 4 80mm & 1 120mm fan, having them all at low speeds keeps things much quieter (you really notice the difference after you turn everything to low :D) while my temperatures only rise by 3-4* C. In general, as long as you cpu isnt going above 50* C, you shouldnt have to worry. When on aim & web surfing, your cpu wont get very hot anyway, so dont worry too much.
 
Which fans should I hook the fan controller up to ? I have 1 exaust fan that I stated/bought above. Two 80mm Case fans. 1 80 mm exaust fan over cpu. and cpu fan.
 
why PC2100 RAM? And the last 2 mass cool Fans I bought were LOUD.
