I'm taking mine next week and was wondering if anyone has taken it recently. Are there any "gotchas" I need to know about or any study tips you would recommend?

Know definitions, use study cards, and spam practice tests and look up every detail you don't know.

it's an easy cert. Just memorize a few common tcp port numbers and know what the common attacks are called and how they work.

Brute force
man in the middle
back door
syn flood
buffer overflow
etc
