Security camera systems for 2-4 cameras.

Can someone recommend a NVR/DVR system for a small retail store? I only need 2 cameras to start with. Would like to do HD/1080 at 8 fps or better. Needs to do remote view via iphone, android, and PC.

You'd like to, but do you really need 1080p detail for interior views? Depending on the budget for the project, a 720p "kit" might be a better solution especially for only 4 cameras. Do you see any potential for growth beyond 4 cameras?

Security cameras should always be as high resolution as you can afford.... Even if it's 8fps

No I don't see more than 4 cameras. I've used a setup from Newegg and another from SecurityCamera2000 that worked fine but setup was a nightmare due to poor Chinese translation. Yes I want to stick with 1080.

I've had pretty good results with hikvision coupled with synology for storage.
