Security Cam Question

Hello everyone, this is my first [h]ardforum post. I've been coming here since the socket 423 Athlon days, just never really got the chance to get on the forum.

Anyways, I got a question about some security cam stuff. I am using hardware that connects through ethernet ( Power over Ethernet stuff to make my life easier lol) and it DOES work. Right now, I'm using a BridgeVMS 1.3MP vandal dome and using Video Insight as my software. I believe that this particular unit is a knockoff of a Brickcom part but I'm not sure which. Anyways, I am about to procure two 360deg Brickcom cameras, that use a Brick software suite. If I want to be able to use all of my cameras through the same monitoring software suite, will I need to purchase a base liscense for my non-Brick unit for it to work? I think that video insight is ok, I like the web interface, but the setup and configuration is clunky. After demoing the Brick software at a local Norfolk wire, I must has haha. Worse to worse, I know that the Video Insight software suite will work with my soon-to-be-in-hand Brickcom units. Thanks for the advice in advance, I look forward to helping the community with what I know just how y'all have done for me.
