I use pretty often Acronis - recovery.
Do i have to secure erase the SSD from time to time ? Would that help ?

I always use HDDErase to secure erase my SSD when reformatting...whether it's really necessary I have no idea but I like doing it anyway- it's quick and easy
 
But i don't want to do a Windows fresh install.
Only to recover the backuped image - with Acronis
