Section for current news items

[CodeWaste]

Hey i had an idea and wanted to run it by a few people,

Perhaps this has been covered before but I was wondering what some of you thought of the idea of putting a frontpage section in the forums. That way people could post comments about articles from the main page, and not have to go searching from vid cards, motherboards, ram, storage, general software, operating systems, genmay sections etc. etc. kinda a nice way to bring the current topics/news items to one place.

An admin would not even have to create the threads, just moderate them. let people start threads if they find somehting interesting, let it go if its not.

maybe just a sub section of the real life stuff seciton?

Just an idea, any thoughts?

You can search for the details, but in a nutshell:

Those articles worthy of distinct posts already have threads made and linked in the article. Otherwise, articles are usually general enough that a forum (say, Motherboards) already fills the need.

I would really like to see a headlines section myself actually. Or better yet a comment link by the post title.

please please!
