ATM I am running 2x 64gb SSD's in raid0 as my OS array. All games/files are stored on a single 1tb WD black.

Load times in a few games I play have been really annoying me, I do have 2x 250gb 7200.10 single platter drives sitting in the closet. Would it be worth the effort to pull those out and make a second array to house games?

God damn you use all 128gb just for windows or what? Isn't 128GB enough for OS and Games?

I dunno, some of the newer games I've played take up ~30Gbytes after install (for what, I have no idea). You could see how that adds up after a while.

I guess, I use junctions and move the games I am not currently playing to the mechanical drive, and move them back when I am playing them more. I don't have to reinstall and it speeds up the games that need it or that i play more often.

I keep games on the storage drive because I tend to reformat every 3-6 months. I burned threw my last SSDs in about 2 years and am trying to keep these new ones working as long as I can.

WoW, TOR, BF3 = about 50gb total if not alittle more.
