Second Display for Notebook 8600M GT HDMI

I have a Dell XPS notebook with a 8600 M GT VC. Can I get 1:1 pixel mapping at 1920 X 1200 with single monitor output mode over HDMI?
 
I was hoping to find out if my daughter's new XPS laptop with a 8600M GT video card with HDMI output was going to be able to drive a 24 inch monitor at native 1920X1200 resoulution. Since I went ahead and ordered a Westinghouse 2410NM I guess I'm going to find out for myself.
 
Thank you. the L2410NM was the cheapest 24 inch I could find with component imput for her Wii.
