for some reason my search function doesnt work in windows....this can be a very big problem, especially with finding that misplaced file on a 120 gig hd.....hundreds of folders, 7 partitions...
yeah,....anyway, ive done virus scans, ive done the restore...and i dont know exactly when this started...
i'm reluctant to format, although the time is coming near for that...and i wanna know if there is a fix for this or an alternate search method/program
just to double up...um....java messes around with me alot....for example, when a java applet starts my screen gets fuzzy...(out of focus)...i think it might have F'ed aruond with my refresh rates...(same effect)...
why is this happening...how do i freaking stop it...
