Sealing a reservoir leak

I currently use a criticool powerplant reservoir (4" version). As many of you know, criticool is no longer in business, and it is extremely difficult to find these nowadays. Unfortunately, my res started leaking around the part where the cylinder mates with the top not too long ago. The leak is not bad, perhaps only 1 or 2 drops of liquid an hour.

I would replace it with another reservoir, but others don't quite fit or have the attributes that I like, except perhaps the swiftech micro reservoir.

Does anyone know what sealant would work best in this situation? I'd need something with a nozzle at the end, similar to superglue. Would silicone sealant work, or should I get something specifically for acrylic?

When I built my cusom water tank and found it to be leaking, I tried every type of glue, bonding agent, etc.

I couldn't get anything to work (except for a solvent weld, which didn't help in my case). My brother (a small engine mechanic), gave me "Plastic Quick Fix" its by Kent Automotive.

This is a professional plastic glue, which will glue practically any type of plastic (including acrylic), it comes in a two part like epoxy.

The downside with this, you need to mix it and apply it fast (about a 2 min work time... Yes 2 min, It caught me off guard as I put to much hardner and it shortened that to about 50 seconds before going ROCK solid).

I have the stuff in black, which you can sand and paint, the full cure time is about 20 min. This stuff DOES NOT EVER come off.
 
get a new one... also if its acrylic you can mix acetone and acrylic to make a good glue that dries clear..
