Hello All !.


Having a little issue with my 320 Cuda.



I have it installed, Windows detects it, I can physically see it..... it even sees that it has 300gb of space, but it will not allow me to format it, or properly detect it. BUT it sees it...


NOw being as this is my first SATA HD (my other 2 are older IDE Drives..) I may be missing something here.. If anyone can help that would be great. !

Teh fubar, judging by your post.

A) format the harddrive

B) fdisk the harddrive

C) reboot the system

Not necessarily, about. If that fails, obtain RMA.

Maybe I am just a little crazy, But I could have sworn with my 160, I just put her in, set it to the proper designation (slave.master), and then in windows it popped up in my computer and formatted from their.... hmm.

Maybe I am a little behind on my computer knowledge and what, but is their a way to format it within windows ? in the device manager ? ect, where do I find this .
