Seagate Barracuda LP Drive Issue

I have a Seagate Barracuda LP ST31000520AS drive that came in an Iomega enclosure that died on me that I would like to get the data off of. As it turns out an idiot friend of mine plugged in my laptop charger into the drives enclosure and it hasn't worked since. Now when I attempt to use the drive the enclosure lights up but there is no spinning, clicking or any vibrations coming from the drive. I have placed the drive in a different enclosure and I still have the same results. My question is do you guys think that the logic board is fried or the motor?
