newegg is selling similar seagate drives for around $100 plus shipping.... seems like a pretty good deal to me :D if i needed some more hdd space i might just pick one up
 
Well i picked one up, but that's because i'm building a backup solution. thought it might be [H]orde worthy of a deal
 
It's a pretty good deal. 16MB cache and less than 25c/gig. I've seen hotter, but it's fairly good. $50 rebate is a bit high, but not as bad as the $100+ repates compusa or cc had a couple of weeks back.
